Have you been misinformed about the default scheme for CSIRO employees?

The default superannuation fund for CSIRO is the PSS accumulation plan (PSSap) which attracts employer contributions of 15.4% of salary. A number of new staff have been advised that the default fund is AGEST, to which CSIRO pays only 9% contributions. Most new emplyees who started with CSIRO after 1 July 2005 are eligible to join PSSap and receive the 15.4%.
